1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or Herbs de Provence
2 teaspoons cooking oil
1 and 1/2 pound flank steak
oil and vinegar based salad dressing
Mix first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Brush oil on both sides of steak. Spread herb mixture on both sides of steak. Broil six minutes per side or until done to your liking.
